WattDrive uses a small set of cookies and similar technologies on wattdrive.in and in the GoWattDrive app. Essential ones are always on; all others need your consent. This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are and why we use them
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and mobile SDKs (software kits in our app). We use them to:
- Keep you signed in and keep the site and app secure.
- Remember settings such as language, location and recent chargers searched.
- Understand which pages and features are used so we can fix and improve them.
- Measure the reach of our campaigns, where you have agreed.
2. Cookies we use

Third-party cookies. Analytics and advertising providers set their own cookies under their own policies. We list the providers on this page and update the list when it changes.
In the app. The GoWattDrive app uses SDKs and device identifiers for crash reporting, notifications and analytics. These follow the same consent choices as above, and you can switch them off in the app’s privacy settings.
3. Your choices
- Consent banner. On your first visit we show a banner. Non-essential cookies stay off until you accept them. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category.
- Change or withdraw consent. Use the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer or the privacy settings in the app, at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as accepting and does not affect past use.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in and payments from working.
- Opt out of analytics and ads. You can use your device’s advertising-ID settings and the opt-out tools your browser or the provider offers.
Data from cookies. Cookie and device data is personal data where it identifies you, and is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it.
Changes. We update this policy when our cookies change and show a new “Last updated” date.
